Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to https://www.cnwlnhshealthcharity.org.uk/

We want as many people as possible to be able to use our website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts

  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen

  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this website is

Most of our website is accessible, but we are aware that some parts may not be fully accessible.

  • Some embedded web forms displayed through iframes. These iframes are used to securely and efficiently collect user information. We strive to ensure that all embedded content is accessible, including providing descriptive titles and ensuring proper keyboard navigation. Because some of this content is provided by third-party services, there may be occasional limitations in accessibility that are outside our direct control. If you encounter any difficulties interacting with our forms or any other part of our site, please contact us at cnwl.charity@nhs.net.

  • PDF documents:  As much as possible we try to avoid the use of PDFs and add content to pages directly. However, we have a few PDFs on our website such as fundraising packs that might not work well with screen readers or other assistive technology. When a PDF is displayed in a browser the title may not always display in the top title bar or as the tab name (WCAG 2.4.2 Page titled)
