A much-loved garden at Harrow Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) has been refreshed for another year, helping children, young people and their families continue to enjoy a welcoming outdoor space while visiting the service.
We're proud to have supported the Harrow CAMHS garden project for a second year, thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the ongoing support of our Corporate Partner, W6 Garden Centre. Together, we've helped ensure this valued outdoor space continues to thrive for everyone who uses the service.
Part of Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Foundation Trust, Harrow CAMHS garden offers a peaceful place where children, young people and their families can spend time outdoors, connect with nature and enjoy a moment of calm while visiting the service.
This year's project, led by Sonya Lewin, Participation Lead, and Laraib Siddique, Participation Co-Lead, brought together young people, staff, community partners and Bobby, the much-loved four-legged visitor, for the garden's annual refresh. They replanted flower beds, added colourful new plants and tidied the space, ready for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.

"The garden has been part of Harrow CAMHS for more than 10 years, and it's wonderful to see it refreshed each summer. It's a space where young people and families can enjoy being outdoors in a calmer environment when visiting the service. We're incredibly grateful to CNWL NHS Health Charity and W6 Garden Centre for helping us care for the garden so it can continue to benefit everyone who uses the service.”
A big thank you to the young people, staff and community partners at Harrow CAMHS who came together to care for the garden. Their time, energy and commitment have helped ensure this special outdoor space can be enjoyed by children, young people and their families throughout the year.
We're committed to supporting projects like the Harrow CAMHS garden that enhance the environments where care is delivered. By investing in welcoming outdoor spaces, we're helping create places where children and young people can feel calmer, connect with nature and experience the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors alongside the care they receive.
