The BMW Berlin Marathon is one of the world’s most prestigious marathons, renowned for its flat, fast course and record-breaking performances. Starting and finishing near the Brandenburg Gate, the route takes runners through the heart of Germany’s capital, passing iconic landmarks and showcasing Berlin’s rich history, vibrant culture and diverse neighbourhoods.
It forms the highlight of an exciting weekend of events, welcoming runners of all levels to experience the electric atmosphere of one of the world’s six Abbott World Marathon Majors.

If you have secured your own place in the Berlin Marathon 2027, we’d love for you to run for CNWL NHS Health Charity.
There’s no registration fee or fundraising commitment (simply raise what you can). You’ll also get a CNWL running vest, plus amazing support from our cheer squad on race day.
